Another ‘Discovery’ comic miniseries in the works
There’s another Star Trek Discovery comic miniseries coming this April. From Discovery writer Kirsten Beyer and co-written by Trek comic veteran Mike Johnson comes Star Trek: Discovery: Succession. The two previously collaborated on IDW’s Star Trek: Discovery: The Light of Kahless comic series.
There’s no word yet on how many issues will be in the miniseries, but SyFy.com wrote that each issue will have a “ships of the line” cover and the first issue will also have a variant cover by George Caitsoudas. Those will apparently provide our first look at Discovery’s new ships.
Issues will run at 32 pages in length and be priced at $3.99USD. Expect them to appear on shelves in April 2018.

Whereas Star Trek Discovery: The Light of Kahless dealt with Chapter 1 and T’Kuvma’s history, the Star Trek: Discovery: Succession miniseries will have direct tie-ins with events in Chapter 2. It will also focus around characters more directly involved in the series.
