Photos & Trailer of “Star Trek: Discovery” Episode 7 – Magic to Make …

USS Discovery comes under fire

Updated to add 2nd episode clip

Episodic photos of Magic to Make the Sanest Man Go Mad released

This week’s episode titled Magic to Make the Sanest Man Go Mad is the seventh episode in the series.  CBS has provided us with some episodic photos for the episode which airs tomorrow on CBS All Access in the US, and Space channel in Canada – followed by Netflix on Monday for the rest of the world.

We have a clip from this week’s episode.  In the scene, which feels straight out of a teen coming-of-age comedy and kegger, the crew of the Discovery are having a party.  Cadet Tilly, who appears to be a little under the influence of alcohol, discusses Burnham’s relationship with Lieutenant Tyler.  Tyler, meanwhile, makes a toast to their fallen Starfleet comrades.

We also have another clip.  This one showing Lt. Tyler and Burnham addressing Harry Mudd in the engineering room.

Star Trek Discovery Episode 7 Trailer

The U.S.S. Discovery crew attempts to let loose at a party, but an unwelcome visitor comes aboard bringing about a problematic and twisted sequence of events.

Based on the trailer, we may be getting a time-loop episode, similar to those found in Star Trek: The Next Generation and in Star Trek: Voyager.

The episode starts streaming tonight on CBS All Access.

About Enrico Pastellio

Rico became a Star Trek fan after being introduced to it during Star Trek Enterprise's run. After finishing that series, he went back watching TNG, DS9, VOY, and most of the movies. He's a big fan of Star Trek (2009) for its action, but favors the cerebral nature of each tv series. When Rico first heard about the new Star Trek Discovery series (then just know as 'Star Trek'), he immediately wanted to start up a new site about the show. You can email him at enrico@ncc-1031.com.
